Walla Walla High School's volleyball team headed to Yakima on Wednesday afternoon for the Washington state Class 3A tournament beginning Thursday morning, Nov. 18, at the SunDome.

"Our girls are so excited to make a run to the state tournament, something that none of them have had the experience of yet," Blue Devils coach Christian Dove said. "We still have goals and are looking forward to working hard, and giving it our best this week as we travel to the Yakima Sundome. I am beyond proud of our team, and am excited to see what else we can accomplish."

"This was a tough loss and in a season where we have had very few losses, it makes it that much harder," Hawks coach Angie Potts said. "We will definitely be working on some things next week as we get ready for the state tournament. This team is very capable of doing well at state, they just have to continue believing in themselves and each other."
