COLLEGE PLACE — Walla Walla Valley Academy's girls basketball team made a thrilling comeback but wound up losing 57-40 to Burbank here Friday, May 21.

Sahara Browning finished the game with 26 points for WWVA.

Burbank had a 25-9 lead shortly before halftime, but the Knights nearly came all the way back. They got to within 29-28 with about three minutes left in the third quarter, but the Coyotes then went on a 15-0 run that put the game out of reach.

WWVA will next play Monday at Mabton.
