School officials will join for a special meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at Waitsburg Elementary School to continue a discussion about whether to join with Dayton in a sports combine.

Dayton’s and Waitsburg’s school boards had agreed to begin as one athletic unit with the start of school this coming fall. A public meeting in Dayton on Nov. 29 revealed most people were in favor of the action, district officials said then.
