LACROSSE, Wash. — St. John-Endicott-Lacrosse dominated Touchet here Tuesday in a Southeast 1B League prep volleyball game.
The Eagles prevailed 25-6, 25-12, 25-15 to run their season record to 12-10 and their league mark to 5-4. The Indians are now 3-6 in league play and 5-8 overall.
Emily Skramstad’s 10 digs topped the Touchet stat sheet. Ashley Luna contributed four assists, Madisyn Gallaher registered three kills, Areli Orozco chipped in with a pair of serving aces and LeAnn Kincaid was credited with two blocks.
Ashlynn Archer spiked 13 balls to lead the Eagles at the net. Allyn Harder put up 29 digs, Roxy Dickerson finished with 18 assists and Rachel Larsen scored six serving aces. Archer was also credited with four blocks.
“We made a lot of mental errors tonight,” Touchet coach Mim Jaggar said. “Which you cannot make against a team like SJEL that moves and attacks the ball well.”
Touchet will try to regroup Thursday when it travels to nearby Prescott for a league match. The Tigers are 1-6 in league play and 2-9 overall following Tuesday’s three-set non-league loss at Mary Walker.
Next up for the Eagles is a trip to Pomeroy to take on the second-place Pirates, who are 7-1 in league matches and 19-1 overall. Pomeroy won in three sets at Garfield-Palouse Tuesday
Oakesdale leads the SE1B with a 9-0 mark. The Nighthawks are 19-2 overall following Tuesday’s three-set sweep at Colton.
