TOUCHET — Senior Emily Schultheis provided the pitching and her sophomore sister Josie Schultheis led the offense here Tuesday as Colton whacked Touchet 20-2 in a Southeast 1B District softball game.

Emily Schultheis pitched all three innings of the abbreviated game, yielding two runs on two hits. Josie Schultheis stroked four hits to lead the Wildcats’ 13-hit attack.

Junior Taylor Thomas had three hits for Colton while Areli Orozco and LeAnn Kincaid were credited with Touchet’s only hits.

The Indians saw their season record slide to 0-8. They won’t return to action until next Tuesday when they host league-leading Pomeroy in a 3 p.m. doubleheader, and two days later they will travel to Colton for a pair of league games.

Colton hosts Pomeroy Saturday in an 11 a.m. doubleheader and will also entertain Garfield-Palouse in a league counter and Asotin in a non-leaguer next Tuesday, with the first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m.
