PALOUSE — Looking to salvage a split of the Southeast 1B softball doubleheader after starting with a 20-7 loss to Garfield-Palouse here on Thursday, winless Touchet jumped ahead in the nightcap with a run in the top of its first inning.

PALOUSE — Bouncing back from a 15-2 loss that ended after only six innings due to the mercy rule, the Touchet High School baseball team started the nightcap of this Southeast 1B doubleheader with Garfield-Palouse here on Thursday with two runs in the top of the first inning.

IRVINE, Calif. — The University of California-Davis women’s basketball team improved to 21-6 on the season and upped its Big West Conference-leading record to 13-1 here Saturday afternoon after posting its 12th straight victory — a 63-44 triumph over the host Anteaters at the Bren Events Center.

TOUCHET — A 21-8 second-quarter run lifted the Touchet High School girls basketball team out of an early hole, and helped boost the Indians to a 47-39 victory over Moses Lake Christian in non-league action here on Monday.

TOUCHET — Touchet’s Issac Gutierrez’s game-tying 3-pointer in the final seconds fell short in the Indians’ gym on Tuesday night, leaving Liberty Christian with a 52-49 non-league victory.

TOUCHET — Touchet’s prep volleyball team took a tight second set to even things up against St. John-Endicott/Lacrosse, but back-to-back losses finished off the Indians with 25-20, 24-26, 25-12 and 25-20 scores in Southeast 1B action here on Monday.

PALOUSE, Wash. — Areli Orozco and Ashley Luna each chalked up nine assists to key a strong Touchet passing scheme, and the Indians finished off Garfield-Palouse in four sets with 25-15, 20-25, 25-22 and 25-17 scores in Southeast 1B action here on Thursday. 

POMEROY — Touchet’s Katie Skramstad pitched a complete game with 20 strikeouts, and also hit a three-run double in the ninth, lifting the Indians to a 9-5 extra-innings win over Garfield-Palouse in prep softball Southeast 1B action here on Tuesday.
