TOUCHET — Visiting Colton broke open a close game with seven runs in the third inning and finished off Touchet with nine more runs in the fourth to claim a 19-1 Southeast 1B District baseball victory here Tuesday afternoon.
PALOUSE — Bouncing back from a 15-2 loss that ended after only six innings due to the mercy rule, the Touchet High School baseball team started the nightcap of this Southeast 1B doubleheader with Garfield-Palouse here on Thursday with two runs in the top of the first inning.
UMATILLA, Ore. — Touchet’s softball team got its first game of the season out of the way, but with Umatilla erupting for 13 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, it turned out to be a 16-3 loss here on Tuesday.
IRVINE, Calif. — The University of California-Davis women’s basketball team improved to 21-6 on the season and upped its Big West Conference-leading record to 13-1 here Saturday afternoon after posting its 12th straight victory — a 63-44 triumph over the host Anteaters at the Bren Events Center.
ST. JOHN — After getting blown out by the girls 1B defending state champion Colton at home Friday, Touchet bounced back to end its season on a high note. The Indians defeated St. John-Endicott 55-43 here Saturday.
TOUCHET — The Touchet boys basketball team looked to build off a win from Tuesday’s matchup against Dayton/Waitsburg as they hosted Garfield-Palouse on Friday, but fell to their 1B Southeast Conference opponent 59-34.

TOUCHET — Madisyn Gallaher scored 15 kills and hustled after 15 digs for Touchet’s volleyball team as the Indians defeated Garfield-Palouse in four sets with 25-15, 16-25, 25-15 and 25-14 scores in a Southeast 1B match here on Tuesday.

TOUCHET — Touchet’s prep volleyball team took a tight second set to even things up against St. John-Endicott/Lacrosse, but back-to-back losses finished off the Indians with 25-20, 24-26, 25-12 and 25-20 scores in Southeast 1B action here on Monday.
TOUCHET — Saturday’s four-set victory over Umatilla allowed Touchet to even its season prep volleyball record at 2-2.
PALOUSE, Wash. — Areli Orozco and Ashley Luna each chalked up nine assists to key a strong Touchet passing scheme, and the Indians finished off Garfield-Palouse in four sets with 25-15, 20-25, 25-22 and 25-17 scores in Southeast 1B action here on Thursday.
MEDICAL LAKE Wash. — Touchet’s softball season ended here Saturday at Waterfront Park with a pair of five-run rule setbacks in the double-elimination 1B District 5, 6, 7 and 9 tournament.

TOUCHET — Jonathan Hale and Kaiden McMakin scratched out the only hits for Touchet as the shorthanded Indians lost both ends of a doubleheader, 25-0 and 19-2, against Colton in prep baseball Southeast 1B action here on Saturday.
TOUCHET — Senior Hayden Schaeffer had a hit in each game, and also started the nightcap on the mound, but an otherwise young Touchet High School baseball team opened its season with 11-1 and then 12-1 losses to Umatilla in non-league action on Tuesday.
