Project description: C. Taylor Short Plat.  Application for a 2-lot short plat within the Walla Walla Urban Growth Area under the residential density waiver in Walla Walla County Code (WWCC) 17.18.050E.  The total acreage of the contiguous tract is 1.42-acres; the smallest lot area would be approximately 0.42-acres.  Each lot contains a detached single-family dwelling unit (1271 and 1273 Shelton Road).  The lots will utilize city sewer and individual wells.  The site is located generally at 1271 SHELTON RD (APN 360728440072), in the R-72 zoning district.  The area is located within or adjacent to the following mapped critical areas: geologically hazardous areas (seismic hazard area with moderate to high liquefaction susceptibility) and critical aquifer recharge area (ten-year time to travel zones).
