MILTON-FREEWATER — Police have released new details in the case of the man stabbed to death in Milton-Freewater early Friday morning.
The 22-year-old Milton-Freewater man was Christian Rodriguez Calvillo, Chief Doug Boedigheimer wrote in an email today.
And an autopsy performed in Clackamas, Ore., confirmed the man died by homicide, Boedigheimer wrote.
Officers and members of the Oregon State Police crime lab searched Calvillo’s home at 604 Ward St., where the stabbing occurred. No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues, according to Boedigheimer.
Milton-Freewater police and medics responded at 12:24 a.m. Friday to Calvillo’s home. Medics took him to Providence St. Mary Medical Center, but he died on the way to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Kennewick.
