It’s tax time again.
The first half of property tax payments is due Tuesday, said Walla Walla County Treasurer Gordon Heimbigner. If a payment is not post marked by April 30, interest and penalties will accrue.
Statements are being mailed twice a year with appropriate coupons attached to each statement. Taxpayers are asked to mail or bring the correct coupons into the Treasurer’s Office for easier identification.
Statements for the other half of property tax will be mailed out in October; those payments are due Oct. 31, Heimbigner said.
