Jenna Provost has called the Walla Walla Valley home for 19 years, and she wants to help others find their home here as well.
“My job title is Realtor. I help people find homes and navigate the process of purchasing,” Provost said. “My goal is to try to connect people with homes — for sale or for rent — so they have a place to call home.”
Provost and her husband, Phillip, own The Provost Team, part of Keller Williams Walla Walla. Before that, she worked for Academy Mortgage. She credits Academy Mortgage Sales Manager Tara Davis for getting her into the profession.
“She took a chance on me,” Provost said. “(I was) just a bank teller wanting to be in mortgage. I went (to her) for advice and came out with a job as her assistant.”
While Provost loves her work of helping people get into their new home, she said working the other side of that — helping people sell their homes — can be challenging.
“I am helping them sell to move on to the next milestone in life,” she said. “It’s not always easy; sometimes the reason for the sale is not ideal.”
It’s not hard for Provost to name what she likes most about her job.
“The people,” she said. “Everyone’s situation is different, and it is rewarding to see them achieving their goal. First house or 10th house, we are celebrating them and this achievement.”
