Where: Athena Elementary School, 375 S. 5th St.
CONTRACTOR: Work through the construction manager/general contractor process for its upcoming plans to make $8 million in improvements to district facilities; consider approving someone for that position.
BUS: Make final arrangements on the district’s purchase order for a new bus.
GRANT: Consider approving an Oregon Department of Education matching grant agreement for $4 million. The district was selected in January to receive the grant; in May voters approved the required $4 million bond required to meet the district’s matching-funds obligation for receiving this Oregon School Capital Improvement Matching Program grant.
