Marijuana removal

An unauthorized marijuana grow was removed near Burbank.

The Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington State Patrol Marijuana Eradication Team removed an illegal marijuana patch near Burbank on Aug. 6, the Sheriff’s Office reported via social media Tuesday.

More than 50 illegal plants were removed. The Sheriff’s Office said the grow operation was non-permitted and the growers were trespassing and stealing irrigation water.
