NEW CHARGES

Vernon L. Denison, 51, Yacolt, was charged June 24 with second-degree theft Jan. 14. He was summoned to appear in court July 29.

Savanna M. Robling, 18, Walla Walla, was charged June 25 with residential burglary and possession of less than 40 grams of marijuana Dec. 15, 2018. She was summoned to appear in court July 22.

Scott A. McIntosh, 50, Milton-Freewater, was charged June 26 with possession of: meth, more than an ounce of marijuana, first-degree firearm, stolen firearm, another person’s identification; and using drug paraphernalia on Jan 30. His arraignment is scheduled for July 8.

Joseph R. Bartlett, 50, Walla Walla, was charged June 26 with second-degree malicious mischief and third-degree theft on Dec. 4, 2018. He was summoned to appear in court July 22.

Ashley C.E. Schack, 26, Walla Walla, was charged June 26 for second-degree theft June 24. Her arraignment is scheduled for July 8.

Lovonia H. Adams, 46, Walla Walla, was charged June 27 with forgery and third-degree theft on Sept. 30, 2018. She was summoned to appear in court Aug. 5.

Telefaro D. Herrera, 35, Walla Walla, was charged June 27 with second-degree taking a vehicle without permission, third-degree driving with a suspended/revoked license, and driver duty-damage only on Feb. 14. His arraignment is scheduled for July 15.

Tiffani L. Mallard, 22, Dayton, was charged June 28 with possession of heroin and meth and using drug paraphernalia June 27. Her arraignment is scheduled for July 8.

Rachael I. Butler, 34, Walla Walla, was charged July 2 with meth possession June 28. She was summoned to appear in court July 15.

Janelle L. Locati, 46, Walla Walla, was charged July 2 with two counts of meth possession June 4. She was summoned to appear in court July 15.

Terry Diaz, 29, Walla Walla, was charged July 2 with meth possession June 28. He was summoned to appear in court July 15.

Isabel Mendoza, 35, College Place, was charged July 2 with harassment June 28. He was summoned to appear in court July 15.

SENTENCED

Billy J. Cook Jr., 31, Walla Walla, was sentenced June 24 for solicitation to possess meth on July 24, 2018. The charges were amended from the original, which were heroin and meth possession and using drug paraphernalia. The sentence included 364 days in jail with 364 suspended; one year of probation; chemical dependency evaluation; and $250 in fines and fees.

Charles A. Buettner, 31, Walla Walla, was sentenced July 1 for second-degree attempted taking a vehicle without permission between Feb. 28 and March 1. The charges were amended from the original, which were stolen vehicle possession and attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle. The sentence included 192 community service hours, two years of probation, to-be-determined restitution and $250 in fines and fees.

DISMISSALS

The dissolution petition filed June 24 for Richard Martinez and Kim L. Martinez was dismissed on June 25 because the couple wanted to work on their marriage.

The charge of second-degree unlawful firearm possession on March 30, 2018, against Glenn B. Jones, 78, Walla Walla, was dismissed June 27 because he successfully completed the terms of the Stipulated Order of Continuance entered on June 19, 2018.

The charges of two counts of forgery on Sept. 19, 2016, against Crystal L. Jensen, 36, College Place, were dismissed June 27 because she complied with the Stipulated Order of Continuance entered on June 20, 2017 and completed residential Drug Offender Sentencing Alternative.

The charges of possession with intent to deliver buprenorphine in a county jail or state correctional facility and possession of a controlled substance by a person not a prisoner on April 4, 2018, against Djuanna R. Akers, 41, Seattle, were dismissed June 28 because the state may not be able to prove each element beyond a reasonable doubt.

The charges in two cases: one, of attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle, violation of a no contact order or protection order-domestic violence, reckless endangerment, third-degree driving with a suspended/revoked license on May 23, 2017; and two, second-degree trafficking stolen property, second-degree stolen property possession, obstructing a law enforcement officer, and two counts of violating a no contact or protection order-domestic violence on Nov. 29, 2016; against Joshua R. McIntosh, 28, Walla Walla, were dismissed July 1 because he successfully completed the Adult Recovery Court Program.

The charges of meth possession and using drug paraphernalia on Jan. 9 against Deya M. Doepker, 36, Walla Walla, were dismissed July 1 because the court suppressed the evidence.
