Bluewood’s administrative office is moving up the mountain.

After more than two decades on Dayton’s Main Street, the office and storefront is being relocated this month.

By the end of this month, the move should be complete, and the new office space will be next to the lodge on the mountain, General Manager Kim Clark said in an announcement. He said the transition from 262 E. Main St. is intended to consolidate administrative facilities for efficiency.

That’s not the only activity going on this summer for the Bluewood crew. While the season heats up at the lower elevations, work crews have their sights on winter. Projects include lift and snowcat maintenance and prepping a new fleet of rental skis and boots for the upcoming season, the announcement said.
