The Red Badge Project helps veterans tell their stories.  Workshops are held at the Walla Walla Public Library for three weeks on Fridays and Saturdays beginning on June 14.  Friday workshops are from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday workshops are from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m.  To register call Library Director Beth Hudson at 524-4433 or contact your VA health team.

Warren Etheredge will lead the "Why We Write" workshops on June 14 & 15 helping student storytellers realize the value of their unique stories.  They find the means to express life through their unique lens and develop the tools to express their unique truth.

Brian McDonald will lead the "How to Write" workshops on June 21 & 22 helping student storytellers step outside of the norm and open up to possibilities.  In addition to basic story structure, they also learn to express the sincere reason they tell stories.

Shawn Wong will lead the "Write" workshops on June 28 & 29 showing student storytellers how characters work on the page and as surrogates for ourselves.  They also learn to make their tales universally accessible while sincerely personal.
