You’ve never caught a fish quite like one of these. The hand-carved, wooden fish of Dayton artist Tom Schirm are so realistic that you step back before they jump on you. Schirm, a Fish and Wildlife habitat biologist, has been carving fish for 25 years, and is garnishing national and international awards for his art. Through July 13, Wenaha Gallery is featuring a school of trout, steelhead, catfish, and sturgeon from this talented sculptor’s hand.
