Providence Medical Group Urology will be on the move starting late next week.

The clinic will close Feb. 14 at its current location in the Poplar Medical Complex, Providence announced. It will reopen four days later at the Chase Medical Complex, 380 Chase St., across the street just south of the hospital.

Also making a move from Poplar will be Dr. John Shannon, a general surgeon whose slate of services includes first-, second- and third-class aviation exams, basic medical exams and in-office EKGs. The relocation, Providence said, will allow him more flexibility with scheduling.

The schedule will not be changed, however, for the urology clinic. Regular hours will carry over to the new spot — 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Fridays.

The phone number will remain 897-2660, which is also how patients can reach Dr. Shannon.
